Houshan Mountain, running from east to west, is 125 meters high and shaped like a Wolong. The mountain is undulating, with an area of 5.6 square kilometers. There are relics such as Taibo Cave Residence, Feilai Chair, Qiyun Taoist Temple, Yihu Spring, Jinniu Shelter, and Seven Fairies Playing Water. During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, the three Taoist Mao brothers in Shaanxi collected and made herbs in Houshan Mountain to treat diseases for people, and were deeply respected by the people of the four towns. Later, Sanmao Zhenjun Hall was built on the mountain, and Zhenwu Hall, Lingxiao Hall, Guanyin Hall, Dizang Hall, Guandi Hall, etc. were built successively. Gradually, a temple fair that took place on every March 18th in the lunar calendar was formed, which has remained unchanged to this day.
